We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Child Care Provider to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and caring environment for children in a home-based setting
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, including educational, creative, and recreational activities
- Create and maintain a daily schedule that includes playtime, meals, naptime, and learning activities
- Observe and monitor children’s behavior and progress, and communicate with parents or guardians regarding their development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines and children’s needs
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and guardians
- Follow licensing regulations, policies, and procedures related to childcare
- Collaborate with parents to support children’s developmental goals and address any concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to create a safe and engaging learning environment
- Basic understanding of health, safety, and nutrition for young children
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in early childhood education are a plus
