Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus. Provide recommendations, answer questions about menu items, and take accurate orders.
  2. Order Accuracy: Ensure all orders are correctly entered into the system, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions. Verify order accuracy before delivering to the kitchen.
  3. Timely Service: Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring dishes are properly prepared and plated. Coordinate timing with kitchen staff to deliver a seamless dining experience.
  4. Table Maintenance: Set up and clear tables efficiently, refilling water glasses, and ensuring tables are clean and presentable at all times. Reset tables for the next guests.
  5. Payment Processing: Present bills to guests, accept payments, process credit card transactions, and return change or receipts promptly. Maintain an organized cash register.
  6. Upselling: Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or beverages, to enhance the dining experience and increase revenue.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow. Communicate guest needs and special requests to the kitchen.
