Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to plan and execute creative and visually appealing store displays that align with the brand’s aesthetic and goals.
  • Utilize design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangement to create captivating product presentations that attract and engage customers.
  • Arrange products on shelves, racks, and displays to optimize visibility, product flow, and ease of shopping.
  • Regularly update and refresh displays to highlight new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies to stay ahead in visual merchandising.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that displays and product placements adhere to marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Use planograms and merchandising guidelines to ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards.
  • Collaborate with store management to ensure proper inventory levels and accurate pricing for displayed items.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of different displays and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area and store layout, including restocking products and tidying displays as needed.
  • Uphold visual merchandising standards, including proper signage, lighting, and overall aesthetics.
  • Train and guide sales associates on maintaining displays and presenting products in an appealing manner.
  • Attend team meetings and provide input on visual merchandising strategies.
  • Contribute to the execution of special events, promotions, and store-wide campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations that could enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education. Degree in visual merchandising, fashion design, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising, retail display, or a similar role.
  • Strong design sense, including knowledge of color theory, spatial arrangement, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to create unique and eye-catching displays.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey merchandising strategies.
  • Familiarity with planograms, retail design software, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining brand standards.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move merchandise and set up displays.
  • Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
